Christmas Angels

Written by

Christmas Angel

It’s at this time of year where we’re constantly reminded about angels and the help that they can give us. There are angels in our beautiful Christmas lights, angels on Christmas cards and angels in church windows. In fact, there are angels everywhere you look, even within your life. I feel for me, one of the key things to reflect on is that when we get to this time of year, that not everyone has had angels in their life. Not everyone has had the support, the help, the comfort that they’ve needed to get them through really difficult times or even dark times.

So, as we reflect on the year that’s been, and as we look forward to a festive family time, I want you just to take some time to look at who the angels have been in your life this year. Who can you really connect to that has pulled you out of the days which you have felt have been lacking in light or love or joy, the days where you felt overwhelmed by your situations, or the days where you felt it would never ever end? The one thing about angels whether you believe in angels or not, are that they’re always here, they’re always around. And when we call upon an angel, they will help us and they will support us.

So, if this Christmas is a time where you’re maybe feeling a little bit lost, a little bit detached, even lonely, you can always call upon an angel. Your guardian angel, an archangel, an angel of love and joy, and just sit quietly and focus on the energy of that angel as it wraps its wings gently and softly around you.

Who will save be???

Written by

Here I am 53 years old and I am still looking outside myself to be saved!!!

You would have thought by now that I would have the strength, courage, stamina, confidence to save myself, yet there are times when life gets to that point of being in the ‘TO HARD BASKET” and I throw all my skills out the window and become that child again, little Phyllis.

It is in these moments that the true self emerges, you take away the illusions around you and you see what you are, who is important to you and how you can move on and tackle the big stuff.

On reflection, I can see my need for support from outside sources as I an indication of the lack of strength to support myself...this lesson is so clear to me when those major events land squarely at my door.

We are all prone to these bumps in our confidence, lapses in common sense. There are times in our life when we just can't see ourselves getting through situations without help.....however if we dig deep we can in most cases, find that inner strength to deal with situations on a grounded level.

For myself I see that inner child still needs to be helped to grow up and that I can save myself, I just need to take a deep breath and go within.

Letting go!

Written by

So what was last week all about?

Karmic ties was a biggie for me and the cutting of said ties, but what does that mean exactly......."cutting ties"

For me it was the positive end to negative situations, seeing people or situation and feeling no emotions, standing up for what was right and again feeling no emotion. What do I mean by "no emotion"? not feeling the negative stuff, rather feeling at peace with myself and the situation.

When we listen to our emotions it will tell us exactly where we are in terms of dealing with difficult issues. Feeling vulnerable, guilty, angry, resentment, embarrassed - the list goes on!!  All of these emotions or feelings indicate that we need to work on the issues in front of us, heal it  and once we have done  this we can move on.

In my Reiki 2 attunement class this week we talked about the 6 steps on the  path to releasing pain -

1 - Acknowledgement

2 - Owning

3 - Immerse

4 - Loving it

5 - Release

6 - Free

Powerful stuff when used with no judgement, honesty and integrity.......Have a go and see how you get on.

A time to heal it would seem, great opportunity for you to look at stuff before the Christmas arrives.

Time - does it expand or contract?

We can let TIME slip by so quickly, already I am hearing "it's half way through the year already!!!'  Do we wish time away? does it speed up as many people say and think it does? Where does all our time go? Do we allow people to steal our time? Do we waste time?

I have decided to TAKE TIME BACK this year, I am going to make room for myself and nurture my needs. This will be a first for me but a necessary new skill for my future. I will have to work on the mind chatter and stop the "I could be doing the ………….".

I have already made time for Coffee dates, holistic treatments, beauty treatments, seminars and finding the right time to engage in family chat time.

When it comes to time we "Never have enough time" but this year I am going to adopt the following phrases to help me have MORE TIME for me.

Some phrases to adopt or look at in your daily live to help you find time

  • NO

I for one, am looking forward to ALL this extra Time I am going to find in my day, week, month and year. Lets make 2017 last instead of rushing towards another Christmas holiday.

You are in control of your TIME, use it wisely!!
